Hello,

My next Show is at Chiswick Town Hall on 26 to 28 November. Last year I had publicity to die for more . . Thanks to British Contemporary Crafts, I have another banner headline this year more . . Hope to see you there.

U and Non U Tubes

pictureThe British Library is asking us to help it track how pronunciation is shifting in Britain. Volunteers are asked to record a chapter from a Mr Tickle book to track differences in vowel sounds.

It says youngsters are now more likely to say "haitch" than "aitch" when pronouncing the letter H. By co-incidence I had similar fun with my U and Non U Tubes based on the word YouTube and Nancy Mitford more . .
