The appliance of science 
Artists and designers are encouraged to innovate. Sometimes we are given help See more, sometimes not. We are invited to enter competitions through www.axisweb.org , my most valuable source of artists' information. The Innovation Centre in Birmingham, attached to Birmingham City University (where I experiment in their lab) put me forward for the European Aluminium Award. I was up against the likes of Jaguar for the innovative use of this material! My jewellery is hand-made, following the appliance of science. See more... |

Primavera in Cambridge 
One of the longest established galleries selling exclusively work of British artists and crafts people was founded by Henry Rothschild and first opened in Sloane Street, London in 1946. Purchased by Jeremy Walker in 1999 the gallery opened in Cambridge in that year. To mark its long established presence I made a suite of pieces inscribed "Primavera era. . . since 1945". Coastal Creatives 
People comment that they can see images of things in the paintings in my jewellery that represents something. This may be so. I have always tried to make some pieces to represent my vision, in particular in pendants and bangles. The aquamarine colour has a stunning finish and I use this to advantage in making jewellery intended to represent the clear blue sea. In a collection that I made for a seaside gallery, I explored the notion of coast to coast, creatively. See more.... |

Presentation project 
Several outlets have asked me to supply them with a versatile label that may be used in a cabinet for pricing and also as a card to place with a purchase. The publicity my jewellery had in Marie Claire magazine has helped sales, for example at the current Royal West of England Show. If you require some labels please email me.
